It's been a long time since I've posted anything. But I wanted to chat about staying current with musical trends. For example , with the phenomenal success of Daft Punk's random access memories , with all of it's sequenced technological wizardry. At it's core is a driving back beat via Omar Hakim , great vocals by Pharrell Williams , and a relentless funky rhythm guitar by Nile Rodgers. Question is , do you think these guys were concerned about was going on in the music world at the time of this project?
I ask because my colleagues and I discuss being dated. Not eHarmony , but staying stuck in an era gone by. Say Parliament Funkadelic , the late great Donna Summer , even Garth Brooks to name a few.
My guess is that you can CHANEL whatever era you want with your own unique spin and you're on the right path.
As someone once said , "A good cover band is worth 25 cents at a jukebox".
Do they still have jukeboxes?
